Pornography is a familiar term in today’s world, only because it is practiced widely even by those who do not understand it. The phrase pornography is frequently used, there is always a bad opinion associated with it. Pornography means when a sexual object is portrayed through easily available mediums such as magazines, internet, sketches, animation, postcards, painting and so on.

Awareness on sexual health is essential for a healthy reproductive system and overall health; however, pornography does not promote sexual health in the right way. It is a sight of attraction for those who are prone to indulge in sexual acts like rape and prostitution.

It triggers drug addiction:

Constant exposure to pornography builds an addiction cycle in the individual. The affected individual is unable to easily let go of the habit and may start indulging in drug abuse to satisfy the sexual urge.

It makes people lose sight of the real world:

People, who are addicted to pornography, lose sight of the real world, because they are absorbed into a digital and print system, different from happenings of real world, making them lose connection with real people around them.

It triggers loneliness:

When a person is exposed to sexual pleasures of artificial world, other activities seem boring and mundane and it builds loneliness.

It increases anxiety and stress levels:

People get addicted to the pleasures of pornography to wipe away stress, to an extent that they are unable to concentrate on other essential activities, and it only builds stress levels.
